Practice Like Your Hair's On Fire!
Join Alison Cameron for a four week exploration beginning Saturday, October 8th.
Remember the Big Questions of our student days? Fast forward a few decades, the questions are still here and the urge to make peace with them a little more urgent. The Buddha’s Five Remembrances assure us that old age (if we’re lucky), sickness and death await us all. How does the certain knowledge of our own death inform how we live our lives as we grow older?
We will approach this question and many more using Kathleen Dowling Singh’s challenging book ‘The Grace in Aging’ as a starting point. With journaling, inquiry, Talking Circle, Soul Collage and our meditation practice, we will shape ourselves into the sort of people who can handle whatever life chooses to throw at us, with equanimity, wisdom and compassion.
October 8, 15, 22 and 29, 2016, 2:00pm - 5:00pm
