Daylong Retreat March 2019

  • Long Beach Meditation 5100 East The Toledo Long Beach, CA, 90803 United States (map)

Led by Community Dharma Leader Franz Manfredi

“Of course there are dozens of meditation techniques... But it all comes back to this - just let it all be. Step over here where it is cool, out of the battle.”

- Ajahn Chah

Mindfulness meditation was taught by the Buddha over 2,500 years ago in India. This daylong retreat is an opportunity to dive deeply into Mindfulness and develop the skills to manifest it daily in your precious human life.

This retreat will include:

  • Periods of silent and guided seated meditation

  • Periodic moving meditations including walking and gentle stretching routines

  • Individual meditation guidance from Franz upon request

It is on retreat that I have had my most significant insights, forever changing my understanding and experience of my life. The Buddha himself long after his complete self-illumination would go on retreat for 3 hours every day and 3 months every year. Following his example and instruction we gather together and set aside this time to explore the depths of our inner lives.”

-Franz Manfredi

We encourage you to join with us in this exploration of your infinitely precious human life.
