Our practice of meditation and present awareness is an ever deepening expression of intimacy. As we become more intimate with our life just as it is, we are able to approach challenging emotions with acceptance and see them as opportunities for spiritual growth. Fearlessness is not the absence of fear, rather it is the experience of being fully aware of fear and yet not having it dictate our actions. In becoming intimate with fear we shift from a pattern of reactivity to face our difficulties head on with confidence and faith in ourselves.
