Mindful Yoga

Transitioning from stillness to movement and back again, we will pay particular attention to the Buddha's first foundation of mindfulness: Mindfulness of the Body.

Come join us for an hour of yoga preceding the Wednesday Sit. These sessions will focus on maintaining awareness of the breath and body during a gentle to moderate level yoga asana practice. After ending with a deep relaxation, you will be left feeling calmed and refreshed, an ideal state for an evening meditation.

We are on Atlantic between 7th and 8th Street in the Peace Builders building. Enter from the rear parking lot. Go up exterior stairs, to end of hall. Enter center through glass doors. See description for more details about locating us.

Parking: Please park in the back parking lot, in the south lot (St. Luke's or find street parking.

Important Note: There is no wheelchair access to the main meditation hall upstairs. An alternate sitting space will be made available upon request.
